Our Cowboy Guns and Gear Uberti 1873 Short Strok Kits are made from 41-40 high tensile steel which has high fatigue strength, excellent toughness and good corrosion resistance. We have polished the mating surfaces but left a jeweling effect for the retention of oil and lubricants. All sharp edges have been radius to prevent binding and catching. This should provide an unmatched wearing ability to cope with the rigorous use seen in Single Action Shooting.

If trying to fit to an 1866 you will need to modify the loading gate.
