Cowboy Guns and Gear Lightened Main Spring has been designed for the compeititve shooter as a reliable alternative to the standard factoy main spring. The Light main spring will suit a full race ready rifle and will work well with all primers including Federal with a hammer wieght of 2.5-4lb with the balance of the main spring screws.

The spring can be blanaced to achieve the desired weight by the loosening of the rear mains spring screw. We recommend a minor torx on the front screw to reduce the risk of it falling out. The rear screw must be tightened first to achieve the correct tension the front screw will only be needed if you require extra poundage.
